About Ojagh Armenia:

Providing homes & restoring hope

Ojagh Armenia is dedicated to transforming lives by providing safe, secure, and dignified housing for Armenian families still living in temporary shelters—known as domiks—decades after the devastating 1988 Spitak earthquake.

Our story & founder

The origins of Ojagh Armenia are rooted in the dedicated efforts of Roubina Coleman.

Since 2022, she has facilitated the transition of 32 Armenian families from domiks into permanent, stable homes. This experience revealed to her the profound impact of secure housing on a family's well-being—offering safety, improved health, and a foundation for future generations.

Recognizing the critical need for long-term housing solutions, Roubina collaborated with her family and close friends to establish Ojagh Armenia. Their unified mission is clear: to replace domiks with durable homes, transforming the Armenian landscape and the lives of its people.

We are Ojagh Armenia…

… a small family-run nonprofit passionate about helping other families.

Our mission is clear

We want to break the cycle of poverty by providing secure, long-term housing for Armenian families, especially those with children.

Our main objectives…

  • Raise families out of poverty and into homes.

  • Provide generational homes for families with children.

  • Relocate children from unsafe, unhealthy environments to safe, clean homes.

  • Provide safe and secure housing for single mothers and their children.

  • Eliminate domiks from Armenia.

  • Provide hope for the hopeless
